Hyaluronic acid is a biodegradable and biocompatible gel with the skin that integrates naturally with the dermis, providing hydration and activating collagen production.
Hyaluronic acid is used to reduce wrinkles and furrows, to increase volume, hydration, skin revitalization and is also used to reduce depressed scars.
The procedure consists of applying hyaluronic acid gel using very fine needles or cannulas (blunt-tipped needles) in different layers of the skin depending on the area to be treated and the patient's indication.
Hyaluronic acid is produced naturally in our body as part of multiple structures such as skin and cartilage. Specifically, it provides support, hydration and volume to the skin.
➤ Provide support to the deep structures of the face that have worn out over time.
The duration of the results depends on the density of the implant and the indication for which it is being used. The skin condition of each patient is different and for this reason the degree of improvement and the duration of the implant is different for each patient.
During the treatment, local anesthesia in cream or injection will be applied in order to make the application of the product more tolerable. The latest generation hyaluronics that we apply in our medical center already include local anesthetic.
Pain, burning, inflammation, redness or temporary changes in skin color in the treated area may occur. These symptoms will subside within 1 to 3 days after treatment. If you have ecchymoses (purples) or hematoma, these will subside after approximately a week with the daily application of a lightening cream formulated by your treating doctor. It is possible to perceive some irregular areas on palpation at the applied site while the product is completely integrated into the skin. Because hyaluronic acid has the property of being malleable, these irregularities resolve within a few days spontaneously or through a gentle massage that will be performed solely and exclusively by the treating doctor.
➤ Strictly follow medical care recommendations regarding the use of dermatological and cosmetic products.
